I load an application with a query that will return records based on that
date and one other criteria
(<> "live person")
The date in an unbound field is set to today's date.
In 2003 I could then select a date from a third party picker and see if
there were any records for that date.
I got rid of that when I moved the application to 2007.
The date is set properly but there seems no way to use the new date picker.
I can't change the field itself and when I click in it the date picker icon
appears but disappears as soon as I move out of the field.
I can set the record source to a table and the date picker works but the
query which is needed will almost always return an empty source.
I guess I could check and use an unfiltered recordset but I want to see
nothing except "No records for this date" when I move to a date.
