Access 2007 Runtime implementation - a set of questions, seeking confirmation

A client has Office 2000 Pro installed on all PCs in their office. They say
they need to upgrade Word, and are considering the leap to Office 2007.
They asked me if they require the Office Professional upgrade edition. I
told them that they should be able to upgrade to the Office Standard
edition - so long as they implement the Access 2007 Runtime. So, I've built
a list of Access-specific questions in that regard.

1. Do they need to uninstall Access 2000 before installing the Access 2007
Runtime? I believe the answer to this is "yes."

2. Are the updates to the Access 2007 Runtime provided in a standard
Microsoft-update issued fashion? Again, I believe the answer to this is
"yes. "

3a. Is the Access 2007 Runtime capable of running an Access 2000 MDE with
corresponding MDW? I believe the answer to this is "yes."

3b. Similarly, if the Access 2000 MDB were converted to an Access 2003 MDB -
and then saved as an MDE, should the A2007RT be able to run this? Again, I
believe the answer to this is "yes."

4. Is the "trusted location" required by the Access 2007 Runtime solely for
the front-end of a split database, or does the back-end need to be included?
I would think this should be for the FE, but I am not certain.

5. What, if any, are the requirements to use the Access 2007 Runtime with
Windows Terminal Services?

Thanks, very much, in advance for the confirmation (or correction) to any of
these questions.

Larry
