Access 97 doesn't close

After a installing Access 97 on a new computer and moving the databases
access97 doesn't close all the way.
I can open and close access 97 but if I open the database and then close, a
window remains open and doesn't respond to any closing command.
It seems that the problem has nothing to do with hardware or OS, as
I have tried installing on Celeron 2400, P4 2400, and Duron 800 using XP
pro, 2000 pro and Win98. The problem even occurs if i take a copy of the
original disk and re-installs access 97. The Database is still working on the
old computer.
I appreciate any help you may offer.
