Access 97 with Access 2003

I need to run access97 for some old in house programs along with access 2003.
I did the same thing with acess XP but am having a different problem this
time. After loading access 97, whenever you open access 2003 it runs through
a re-install before opening the program. If I uninstall access 97 then access
2003 tries to reinstall and fails with a 1907 error, can't install font. The
same thing happens if I leave access 97 alone, and rename hatton.ttf. (That
was the issue with 97 and 2000 or XP on the same machine). Has anyone
experienced this and found the fix? I'll have to run access97 for a while
until all the old in house programs are updated.

I've got both 97 and 2003 on this machine, with no problems.

I assume you installed the two versions into separate folders.

Yes I did. I went throughthis with office2000 and it was the hatton.ttf, but
that doesn't seem to fix it with 2003. It looks like some kind of permission
issue during the reinstall. I've tried adding the system, admin accounts to
the local admins group but same thing. I even have a little batch file I used
that deletes the hatt.ttf font that I tried, then installed the newer font
from a different machine, no go.
