Access Forms

Hello! I am hoping someone can help.
My problem... I have taken a template that I downloaded from the MS site and
I am "re-designing" it for my needs and turning it into a HR db. Previously
it was the "Students" db.
I have gone through the all the objects and re-named and re-created the
relationships I am thinking we are good with that. The main form, where you
add a new employee only works when its left open. As soon as its closed the
navigation arrows re-set back to one and my list of employees are gone. They
are however in the employees table, but I cannot figure out how to keep them
in as an continous form.
This is not true however for the emergency contacts. When you add an
emergency contact to the employee and bring up that detailed form they are
available to scroll through.
Anybody have any thoughts? I am thinking its just a setting somewhere but my
eyes have looked at this for 2 days now and I cant look any more!

Right Click on the upper left hand corner of the form - select Properties,
select the data tab, change the Data Entry option to NO if it is YES. See if
this fixes your problem. It's a normal setting.

Thanks Bonnie-That did the trick. I knew it had to be a simple setting!
