There will be definite differences with each version. For instance, the
meddage box text will need to be re-written for each language, as will all
the labels, etc. The Regional settings in the Control Panel will affect how
each one relates to Windows. For instance you cannot put a Japanese version
of Office on an English copy of Windows, and expect everything to work
perfectly. That said, once you rebuild and compile your code and application
for each language, the data should be no problem. Just don't expect to be
storing Japanese characters, on a Chinese version of Office (or Access)
running on an English version of Windows.

Arvin,

Thank you for the information previously posted. Can you please clarify for
me one more thing.

If i build a datbase on an Australian version of windows and Access and want
to give the database to somone in Japan (with Japanese characters as labels)
putting the back end on their server and the front end on their desktops how
much of an issue would it be.
