Access licensing

Why does my Access 97 show it is licensed to Bart Besseling of Quarium, Inc.
It was purchased from CompUSA.

If it is on diskettes, that likely means it was sold, installed, the
software returned, reshrinkwrapped, and re-sold. It seems just a wee bit
late in the game to just be discovering this about an Access 97 package.
When that was still the current version, you could have taken it back to
CompUSA with your sales receipt and gotten a never-installed copy in
exchange. If not on diskette, I have no idea how it would determine that nor
how you would address the problem.
