Access to Office apps from multiple user accounts on one PC

Bear with me. First post.

Bought a new system for my wife and daughter - Dell with XP Pro.

Bought a Studen t&Teacher edition of Office for my wife (a teacher) and my
daughter (a student!) Installed OK on first account (my wife's). Can pull
icons onto desktop and launch OK.

Tried same from my daughters account but no joy. Can't paste icons to
desktop and at second attempt couldn't even find icons for Word, PPT and
Outlook in Start -> All Programs-> MIcrosoft Office -> Microsoft Office
Tools. Only half a dozen Office utilities.

Check in Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and there is
"Microsoft Standard Edition 2003, safe and sound.

Switch user in XP back to the account I was using when I first installed
Office and the logos are on the desktop and run fine.

I thought the "up to three users" restriction was for up to three PCs not
three users on a single PC. What am I doing wrong?

Try placing a shortcut to the program in the All Users
account (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs).
This should make the program available to all users.
