Access97 to Access XP conversion

When converting an Access97 database to AccessXP got two
error massages

Missing or broken VBE reference to file 'dao2535.tlb' and
Missing ot broken VBE reference to file 'Itsctn31.ocx'

And the converted database will not allow me to make an
mde file and refers to the Itsctn31 file.

Has anybody had this problem and can offer a fix.

Start by working with a copy of your database. Second, open your database in
A97, open the VBE window and compile and save all. This may give you all the
information you need to proceed with the conversion. It that doesn't solve
the problem, then feel free to post back.
