When upgrading access97 to 2003 : I want to avoid the
upgrade of the DB. The reason is real simple: you can't
upgrade all the clients overnight so we know that we end
up with a mix of clients during the migration phase
(sometimes months). In this mixed environment each time a
new client accesses a DB he will be asked if he wants to
upgrade it. If he does so then all the clients with the
older client version will no longer be able to open the
DB.Can we bypass this in a way that the automatic
question to upgrade the db doesn't pop up and/or the
upgrade possibility is disabled?
