Accessing the web server thru Frontpage

N

Nick

My ISP has just set up web hosting for me, and I have
created and uploaded my web site using Frontpage 2000.
The ISP has configured the server for FP extensions to
support my site.
Trouble is, I have been told I need to delete a
file "index.shtml" off the server, as when I enter my web
site address in the browser, I am faced with a page
explaining that "the user has not uploaded their site
yet, please try later".
I can successfully publish the site through Frontpage,
but how can I access the server to view and ammend the
files? There is no "double pane" view when the files are
transferring.

Any help would be greatly received!!!!

Thanks

Nick

File >Open Web and in the file name use the URL of your
website. FP will open your live site and you should be able
to delete the file from there.
