The other day I was having some problems with clipboard not working for
copy/paste. So thinking to use the Office clipboard, I opened Word which
promptly crashed several times. Finally I let it shut off the Acrobat
plugin for creating .pdf documents from Word documents.
Now I can't find where to re-enable the Acrobat plugin. I've checked Word,
I've searched in Word Help for "Acrobat" and "plugin" and ".pdf" and I've
searched through the options in Acrobat, I've sent the error messages in
Event Viewer to Microsoft - No luck.
Versions are:
Word 2003; SP1
Acrobat is (ver. 7.0.2)
OS is WinXP SP2 (all updates)
These two applications have co-existed just fine for some time with the
plugin active in Word. So how do I get the plugin turned back on?
Event Viewer Error message:
Faulting application winword.exe, version 11.0.6502.0, stamp 424d964d,
faulting module pdfmofficeaddin.dll, version 7.0.0.0, stamp 41bec0db, debug?
0, fault address 0x0001862c.
Thanks,
Martye
