action buttons

how can I put labels on PowerPoint action buttons?

Jabberwock,
Don't know what you mean precisely with a label but select your action
button, rightclick and choose Format AutoShape, on the colors and lines tab,
next to color click on listarrow and choose fill-effect, click on the
picture tab, click on insert picture... You can do that also by using the
paint bucket button on your drawing toolbar.
Hope this will help, if not someone else will jump in and save me from
further harm.

If you used built-in Action Buttons most of them have images on them
relating to their built-in function. The "Custom" button is blank. You can
add text to any of them by right-clicking the object and clicking "Add
Text", however adding text to the ones with images can be very distracting.
