Hello,

I restored computer. All software works except Microsoft word. Entered the correct 25 digit code to start it. Message invalid code keeps appearing. Got new code as suggested earlier by someone here. The new code does not work. Microsoft phone expert could not help, said she did not know what the problem was. Any other bright ideas.

Did you change any hardware? The 25 digit code is hardware-specific (for
W2000 and later), using at least the hard disk ID.

no I did not change anything. just used the restoration disk to restore the computer
