activex controls

I am having trouble when I add a toggle button to a slide. I have a toggle
button that uses a user form to pop-up a definition in the slide. On that
same slide I have several layers and multiple animations. The toggle button
appears right away and it will not let me animate it to have it appear later
in the slide.

You cannot animate activex controls. Do you really need the toggle button?
Can't you use any autoshape and assign a macro to it?
