Add All Images in Folder to Web Page

How can I add all the images in a folder to an existing web page?
Preferably with all set to a standard size and resampled?

1) Do your sizing and sampling in an image program *outside* of FrontPage.
The free Irfanview is good.
2) File | Import the images into a folder in your web.
3) Open the page, then: File | Insert the image from the folder. You need
to do this one at a time for proper placement. Many people use tables for
image layout control

Tom's suggestion is a good solution.
you might want to also look at www.coffeecup.com they've got a nice gallery
maker that's easy to use.

there's also the FrontPage photogallery but it's a little problematic.

sometimes when I'm working on an unfamiliar site I'll expand the images
folder in the left (folder pane) click the first image in the folder and
shift+click the last (to select them all) then I'll drag and drop them onto
a page. by doing this I've got a visual reference so I know what the images
look like and I'll also get size attributes.
Not necessarily a solution for what you want to do but a good trick
nonetheless.

I have a PHP script that you can drop into your images folder, then when you click the link to the images folder it displays thumbnails of whatever's in the folder. You can set your own headers and CSS. Would you like for me to post it? Or email it? Can somebody help me with the form upload problem I posted on FP General Questions and Extensions?

I'd like to have a look at it.
you can email it to me is you like.
I've got the same kind of thing in classic .asp if anyone needs that.

I didn't see your form problem in the other NG you mentioned.
What's wrong with it?

Thanks for all the replies. Having now learnt a bit more I can perhaps
explain my need a little better.

What I have in mind is a VBA script that will examine a folder to discover
all the files (jpg images) in the folder and then create html in my current
page that displays the images. I can then move the images around on the
page and then save the page which will place the images in the web's images
folder.

any thoughts?

Davy
