Add email address to signature

K

Katherine

I can create a signature in Outlook which includes my
email address but it doesn't appear underlined & in blue
so the recipient can click on it to send an email.

How do I do that? Thanks, Katherine

But all they need to do is click on "reply" so why do you need an address in
your sig, unless you are sending email under a false address? (SPAM?)

Or you jsut list it for complete contact information. Also clicking on the
address would create a blank E-mail message stopping the endless replies
madness.

Katherine,

Goto Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> button Signatures. Create a new
signature with the name you want, leave the rest of the settings as default
and click Next. When you type the e-mailaddress in the signature make sure
you press ENTER after the address to go to the next line. Outlook will now
automatically create an e-maillink out of it.

Hope this helps!

add mailto: to the beginning of it - btw - whether or not addresses are
clickable without mailto appended depends on the email client the recipient
uses.
