Add font color button to the microsoft project toolbar

Hi Cherie,

You may add a toolbar button that will show the Format > Font dialog box
(which includes Font color), but there is no direct method of getting
directly and only to the font color, as far as I know.

To add the Format > Font button, click the Toolbar Options drop down on the
right side of any toolbar. Choose Add or Remove Buttons > Customize to show
the Customize Dialog box. In the Categories list on the left select Format.
In the list on the right scroll to find the Font... entry. Drag the Font...
entry to any toolbar you choose then click the Close button.

When you click the Font... toolbar button (represented by the blue A) it
will open the Format > Font dialog box.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Thanks Julie. This does help, although was hoping to be able to go directly
to the font color like you can with excel & word.

Hi Cherie,

You're welcome and thanks for the feedback. I agree, it would be nice to
get directly to font color but I'm afraid it isn't possible. ;-(

You could record a macro while you go to the font color selection box.
Then create a custom button (right click on any toolbar, Select
Customize, Select Commands, Macros, then drag the smiley face button
onto whichever toobar you like). Right click on the button, click
Change Button Image and select a button you like. The right click on
the button again, and select Assign to macro, select the macro you
recorded.
Hope this helps in your world.
