add text feature

Just asked a question on word art then got thinking, what
about using the 'add text' feature to a pic? any problems
with that?

I'm trying to figure out how to add text to an image I
want to use in my header. Thanks

Ed,

As Murray mentioned, this is not advised. You are best to create your
banner in a graphics program, which will allow you to add your text, images
and other things to create one file.

This will also save you time down the road, so if you ever elect to change
your banner, you can create a new graphic and then overwrite your existing
one.
