Adding appointments to several calendars at once

Is it possible to add an appointment to several calendars at once if you have
the proper permissions to all of the calendars? Our HR department has 13
people who share calendars and one of those staff members has access to edit
all of the calendars. The VP of HR doesn't like having to respond to meeting
requests, he wants the items automatically added to his calendar and the rest
of the staff's calendars without using the meeting requests feature. At this
point, that means that one person has to go into 13 calendars and enter this
information individually on each one of them. Is there any way to do a "mass
edit" and add information to all the calendars at the same time? Any other
ideas? Thanks!

Such a feature is not built into Outlook, but it would be possible to write code to do it.
