Adding Excel Patters and Symbols for Charting

Hi,
I am creating graphs with a high density of series (plots) and it woul
be super helpful to me if I could add a new sybmol to the Style Option
on the the Patterns Tab (Format Data Series). Is there any way to d
this??

Hi Charlotte,
Do not think you can add to the Style Pallet. But you can do this:
(1) In any application (e.g. Word, Excel or a graphics program) locate a
drawing you would like to use as marker (that is Excel's magic word for
those things) and make it the right size.
(2) Use the copy command
(3) Open Excel, select a data series on a chart and use the Paste command.
The data series now has for its marker the diagram/picture/drawing that you
copied
