Adding music to a Power Point presentation

I would like to add continuous music to a Power Point presentation.
I have not been able to figure out how to do this. Can anyone help?
Also, is there any prerecorded music in the PP program similar to
iphoto?

This is written for Windows PC but should help:

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

PP doesn't include any music or software/features for manipulating it.
