Address Book

During the recent MS Critical Update my address book has
disappeared out of Outlook 2000.
1. What is the file extension for the address book?
2. Where does Outlook default the storage of this file?
3. How do i get Outlook to recognize this folder?

Outlook does not use a separate Address Book. The address book is merely a
view of your Contacts Folders.
Be more specific: what is missing? What mail support mode of Outlook?

There must be more to this story. You applied a critical update to Office
2000 and your Contacts Folder is now empty? Not possible. You must have done
more than that. What update did you apply? What messages did you get along
the way?
Mail support mode is found in line 2 of Help | About in Outlook.
