Thanks, JoAnn, but I'm afraid to try that. My 7.0 is working fine for me,
and I had so many troubles downloading that v. 8+ to my desktop; I don't
know what might happen if I delete 7.0, and I need it! I think I might be
safer to just stay with that.

Do yourself a favor. Uninstall all previous versions then try the
installation. I've known some others who have had difficulties when they
an existing version on their system and tried to install a newer version.

I've been trying to install it, and it's been sitting at 6.4% for a
couple of hours. Seems like I'm destined not to have it. What is
strange is that I have v. 7.0 right now and had an earlier version
before and somewhere along the line it must have asked me if I wanted to
upgrade and I did, apparently without all this trouble.

John,
Thanks again. I was finally able using Softpedia to download it to my
Desktop. I tried to run it later, but it seemed to be taking too
long, and it's late, so I'll have to try again another time. I didn't
see an option on what content to install, but on the other hand, it
only seemed to be the Reader, not the photoshop.

At least you have the file now...
I hope it installs successfully for you.
