Adobe PDF file Printing

Peter

Hi,

I would like to program a link to an Adobe pdf file that open the Adobe
program only. I do not want it to open in a browser window. I guess if the
client computer has the Adobe browser plugin, then Adobe opens in a browser.

What I'm finding is that people have difficulty in printing the pdf file. If
you know what you are doing of course it's not a problem, however many people
are trying to print the pdf file from the browser window (File-Print), rather
than using the Adobe Print button that shows up below the browser task bar.

Is there any way to program Front Page (most recent version) to ignore the
plugin, and just open Adobe on the remote computer if Adobe is installed on
that machine?

Thanks

Peter

It has nothing to do with Frontpage. This is controlled by the Users
settings.
