Can anybody please help me ?

I am trying to illustrate an article I've written using Word 2002.

I have tried to copy an graphic from a .PDF document into word using

the snapshot tool in Adobe Reader 7.0, it highlights the graphic but copy

and paste are not active in the edit menu.

I would be really grateful if somebody out there could help me, as I must

find a way of getting these illustrations into Word.

Thanking you in advance

I think you need the Acrobat program for the snapshot tool to work. Use print
screen and crop in Paint or Word.

I have version 7.0.5. I selected the Snapshot tool, highlighted an area,
and upon releasing the mouse button got a message box "The highlighted area
has been copied to the clipboard." The copy was automatic. If you've
somehow checked the "Don't show me this again" on the message, maybe you
_did_ copy and were unaware of it. Might pull up a new Word doc and try
Paste and see what happens.

But note that if this is Word in Works Suite and the Microsoft Works Suite
Add-in for Word has not been uninstalled, the add-in will clear the
Clipboard when you start Word.
