advanced find using TIME properties

Friends,
I'm new to this question/answer forum. I'm a strong user
of OL2002 and often use ADVANCED SEARCH to look up old,
filed email messages. The TIME properties offer several
options...but not, for me, the all-important BEFORE,
AFTER or BETWEEN DATES property. Is there a way to
search with such date parameters? Thanks in advance!

does it not work to use those properties? (advanced tab, select from date
and time fields)
