Every 45 days our users are required to change their
domain passwords. This is inforced using group
policies. Most people don't have a problem but some
develop and outlook problem after the password change.
Everytime Outlook starts it asks for the
user name ,domain & passwd. If you type in the current
users username, new password, and domain name it starts
normally and works fine. If the user presses cancel or
types in the incorrect password the users Active
directory account is locked out. Out of 50 people this
is only an issue with 4 or 5. I have read quite a few KB
articles and I can't seem to find an answer. I have a
windows 2000 server as the domain controller, a windows
2000 server running exchange 2000 server, and the
workstations are primarily 2000 but some are xp. The
version of office doesn't seem to matter either. Some
are XP and some at 2k. Any help would be appreciated.
