Alarm not working in Outlook

Using office 2k, Outlook no longer alerts when an event
in the calander goes off even with the options set to
alarm. Any ideas? This was upgraded from Office 97 as
an additional tid-bit.

Try starting Outlook once with the /CleanReminders switch. If you need help
