Aligning Positive and Negative Numbers

How do you align positive and (negative numbers) in a Word tablewith right alignment? System will not allow spaces after positive numbers so that numbers align

Hi, Marian,

Set a decimal tabstop at the position where you want the numbers to end. You
can do this through the Format > Tabs dialog. Another way is by clicking the
"L" symbol at the left end of the ruler until it's an inverted T with a dot
next to it, and then clicking on the ruler at the desired position.

When you enter numbers in a table cell where a decimal tabstop has been set,
you don't need to press the Tab key (or Ctrl+Tab) first, just type the
number. But be sure the text alignment of the paragraph is either Left or
Justified.
