All Messages Are Marked read After I Start Outlook

All messages are marked after some time when I starts MS
Outlook 2000 need help.

Open outlook

Select the TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS...
Select OTHER tab
Click the READING PANE button

It is probably set to mark the messages read if
you just move your focus off the message.

Make your changes there.
