Alternatives to the Timesheet in PWA

Are there any third party (or Microsoft) add-ins that improve upon the
Timesheet entry process? The process delivered in PWA is too timeconsuming
for our usage. We are looking for something that displays projects for a
team, the current tasks associated with those projects, and the ability to
add time spent and time remaning to the tasks.

Any help would be appreciated.

PWA splits the time entry into 2 different areas: Task updates and Timesheet
entry. I am looking for a single place for my team to do this work. While
the split works well for consulting firms, those of us that are not concerned
with billing do not reap the benefit of having the 2 areas split.

For what it's worth, we're a consulting firm and the new PS2007 PWA approach
to timesheets does *not* work well for us. Microsoft took a huge step
backwards in PS2007 regarding timesheets -- what used to be straightforward
and functional in PS03 is now complex and missing some vital features (like
time period totals). I'm still looking for alternatives and TimeControl may
be one.

You should probably move this discussion to the Project Server discussion
group, since it really belongs there and there will likely be more people
having the same problem you're facing.

Try Standard Time (www.stdtime.com). But, ST doesn't support PS2007. But,
it does support MPP files. It has a nice timesheet, and shows all projects
in a peer-to-peer way.
