Hi John,
In all versions of PowerPoint, you can insert your image on the slide, move
it off the slide on the right side and apply an animation to "Crawl" from
left. The image will slowly move across the slide.
If you want to create the illusion of additional motions (for example the
wheels moving), you can make multiple copies of the bike image with the
wheels rotated slightly, evenly spread them across the slide and apply custom
animation to each one to appear and then hide on next mouse click
sequentially across the slide. Timing for all should be set to 1 second
automatically. The end effect is similar to a "cartoon flipbook", the
previous image diappears as the next image appears, making the illusion of
moving across the slide.
PPT XP/2003 Motion Paths are much better and smoother. You can apply a
rotation animation to the bike wheels and the motion path to move across the
slide.
