Animation Problems

When I try to apply a preset animation scheme, the animation starts, stops,
and then blinks (it doesn't work). Also, most animations don't work, while
they have on the same sort of text on other computers. I have PowerPoint
2003. Is this just an isolated mess-up, a bug in the program, or am I
missing something all together? Should I attempt to return the product to
the store, call Microsoft, or am I doing something wrong?

Have you updated your video driver lately? (See:
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00029.htm). Do you have DirectX 9.0
installed?

Don't try to return the software, because it isn't faulty. Give us a chance to
help you before you resort to calling Microsoft. We can probably save you some
money.
