Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.5.1 Update
Contains very little for Entourage, but there is a Word fix that you should
consider and update.

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac 12.1.2 Update
Several considerable fixes involving Sync Services and stability.

Read the complete description and details of the updates on the Entourage
Help Blog <http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/>

Currently, the updates are only available via Mactopia downloads, but should
be showing up via AutoUpdate shortly.

Hi Phillip:

If you read that list again, you will see that seven of the nine packages
installed apply to Word.

You must understand that Microsoft Word is about 250 MB of code (depending
on what you count) of which only 48 MB of code is contained in the
"Microsoft Word.app" bundle.

Do a Show Package Contents and have a look in the Frameworks folder to see
how many other modules are dynamically linked in.

Cheers

It says office one item mention has to do with the converters of word.

Hi Phillip:

Yes, of Word directly. The thing that is called "Microsoft Word.app" in a
modern application is just the glue that sticks all that code together.

Have a look in the "Libraries" folder inside the app bundle to see what is
being called in. All of those things are as much a part of Word as anything
else: it won't run without them :)

Cheers
