I have had my office XP licences for several years but didn't use them
because no one was complaining. Now that i have started the upgrades i am
catching it.
This current problem concerns the way they search for files. They may have
several hundred files in a folder but only want to see those that start with
'opp' for example to pull up all the oppenheimer files. Office 2000 would
show all the Oppenheimers and opportunity etc. With Office XP they only get
to see one file name... Is there anyway to change the behaviour of Office
XP to act like Office 2000 or will i get this functionality back by another
upgrade to Office 2003?
I am concerned that Microsoft has reduced the features in these new versions
rather than improved them... Both users are wanting to go back to Office
2000. Help! charlie
