Any known conflicts with Norton Internet Security 2005?

Since installing Norton Internet Security 2005 "on top of" Office Outlook
2003 I find that Outlook doesn't close properly and, unless I re-boot before
attempting it, won't re-open. There is no error message, it just doesn't
open. When I do re-boot and then reopen Outlook I get the message that
Outlook didn't open properly last time and asking whether I want to start it
in Safe Mode. I've wondered if this is caused by a conflict between NIS and
Outlook. Anyone know?

No need to reboot. Open the Task Manager (ALT-CTRL-DEL>Task List) Processes
tab and stop all instances of OUTLOOK.EXE.

The real truth is that since Symantec bought Norton (and maybe before),
Norton tools have never played well with Outlook.
