Apple Compatibility

What, if any, are alternatives to an already-created FP site because the user
has an Apple and cannot see it? Thanks.

D

David Berry

Why wouldn't an Apple user be able to see the web site? Web sites created
in FrontPage aren't platform dependant. It could just be that there's code
or scripts in the site that a MAC can't view. For example, if you're using
any VML (like text boxes that start with v:). What's the URL so we can take
a look?

D

David Berry

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to view this site. Are
they getting an error message? Try removing the styles on the text:

style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: 24pt; font-style: italic"

and see if that helps.

R

rhonnid

That style is only on the home page. Please click the link to enter the site.
Those specifications are not used throughout the site. Thanks again.

Stefan B Rusynko

There is nothing in your other pages that should prevent MAC users from viewing your site

The NOTORIOUS slide-show photogallery will probably not work on a Mac.

|I see the pages in that site fine with OSX 10.4.8 and Safari 2.0.4.

It does - in a manner of speaking. The thumb images are in a long,
horizontal scroll, and the larger image is well off-center, but there it
is....
