Applying a service pack to a Project 2003 Administrative Point

I have been trying to run the command line below to apply a service pack to
my Project 2003 Standard administrative point on a Windows 2000 server:-

msiexec /a \\server\sysapps\prjstde.msi /p c:\kb832887\project2003.msp

however, everytime I try (and I have played with shorfilenames=ture and the
/qb+ options), I get an error telling me that "Incorrect Command Line
Parameters".

Help!

Now I am getting confused. I have just been trying to do the same for Office
XP and microsoft's website instructions put the msi and the msp files the
other way round. However, when I put the the other way round I get exeactly
the same error message telling me incorect command line parameters......
