archiving, .ffl files need help

I changed laptop so I saved all outlook files and folders to memory storage device. When I tried to open the files the folder appeared to be saved inexplicably as FFASTUNT.FFL. I cannot open this file and restore the outlook files. Both laptop are using Win XP professional as Op Sys Outlook 2003 the new laptop and outlook 2002 (the previous version) the old one. Does anybody know how to help me to open this .FFL folder?
1) How to open and restore files contained in a .FFL folder?
2) Why this happened (I did even know of the existance of a .FFL file)?
