Archiving Messages

Hi All

I recently imported all my emails and folders from Outlook
Express into Outlook 2003. I am now wanting to archive
all the emails that are a year old (or older).

The archive goes away and trys to archive the emails (it
creates the folders) and nothing is archived.

Is this due to Outlook looking at the modified date as I
have seen mentioned on this and other forums ???

Cheers

That worked a treat.

Yes, Outlook will always archive according to modified date.
Any easy solution is to open the .pst file that you are
going to archive to, do and Advanced Find. On the Advanced
tab choose Field-->Date/Time Fields-->Received.
Then choose Between for the condition, then put in the
dates that you want to archive. Once they are found, then
move them into the archive pst.
