How can i order power point to ask something at the beggining of the
presentation and then use it somewhere else?

Let's say i want to ask for the name of the user so in the future powerpoint
will replace at a certain spot that i have identified a word with the name
They've entered?

Thanks

I just uploaded a sample on my FAQ page on how to so this. As TAJ mentioned
it requires the use of VBA so you will need to be sure your Macro Security
is set to MEDIUM when you unzip and open this file in order for the code to
work (and to see the code).

I just noticed a VBA section in the Outlook listing in the discussion list.

PowerPoint VBA is a lot like a strong southern draw. It uses the same words
as the rest of the country but has a very distinct flavor. By all means
feel free to investigate the Outlook VBA stuff, but when you have a
PowerPoint VBA question, this is the group to help.

Both Bill F.'s example and David's site are great places to start to learn
PowerPoint VBA.
