ASP error on rendering jpg's

I am asking the question here in the hopes someone may know the answer

I am rendering jpg's in a Front Page generated html page. Normally it works
well. But after a while the pictures stop rendering.

When I try to open the picture directly through IE
(http://www.webaddress.com/image.jpg), I get a script error that says :

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0116'

Missing close of script delimiter

/webaddress.com/image.jpg, line 9

The Script block lacks the close of script tag (%>).

There are no applications that are manipulating the jpg's.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. A Google search came up with nothing.

Well, I'm totally confused. You say it's an HTML page, but you're getting an
ASP error? But the example URL you gave didn't have a .html or .asp
extension: it had a .jpg extension. Can you clarify? The more information
you provide, the quicker and better an answer you'll get.
