Assigning Master to Slide

Hi:

I have two master slides. The system assigned some slide to one master and
some to the other. How do I tell the system which slide belongs to which
master?

Thanks,

Bring up the Slide Design task pane. At the top of the list is a category of
designs marked "Used in this presentation". As you click through the slides
in your presentation, the master used for that slide will get a box around
it.

What's more, you can find out how many slides use each master. Hover your
mouse over each of the designs and a pop up box will appear that shows how
many slides in the presentation use that slide. That pop up will also give
you a list of the slides that use the masters in the pair.

Does that help?

Do you mean that you have a Slide Master and a Title Master? The Title Master
is only applied if you select the Title Slide auto layout. I think we need to
know which version of PowerPoint you are using and whether you have two Slide
Masters or you have a Slide Master and a Title Master.

I have a Slide Master and a Title Master. Somehow some of the slides got
assigned to each master. I only want one slide to be the title master and the
rest to be the slide master. I need to know how to change the master
designation for the slide.

I am on PowerPoint 2003.

Thanks

Select a slide and then go to Format > Slide Layout. The layout applied to the
slide will be highlighted/outlined in a pale box in the task pane. If you see
that the Title Layout is highlighted and you don't want the Title Master applied
to the slide, then pick a different layout and the Slide Master will be applied.
