Assigning Resources

I have two environments that are pretty much duplicates of each other as far
as the way they were set up. I have checked group settings, security
settings, etc and everything is the same in both environments. I have a
project manager who can assign ALL resources in the production environment,
but can only see certain resources in the dev environment since all the
others are grayed out. Any suggestions as to where to look??

Kevin --

Make a list of the Groups to which this PM belongs. Open each group
individually for editing and examine the Permissions grid in the Categories
section. For each Category in the Group you are editing, check the Assign
Resource permission and make sure that it is not set to Deny. If the
permission is set to Deny, uncheck Deny and check Allow, or make sure both
checkboxes are deselected. Hope this helps.
