Assingment-Dimension evaluated in a Cube

Hi there!

I'm thinking about evaluating the assingment-dimension in a cube: in other
words I want to know the hours a person has worked for a task. Till now I
just found that I can evaluate the tasks - for example how many hours are
booked on a tasks - but not by whom.

HHas anyone an idea?

Hi

The OLAP cube reads the Project & Resource Enterprise Outline Codes only by
default.

You can extend the cube to do analyse at the task level - the link is below

Please be aware that the work load on the server is increased dramatically
when you process task level values ... Check the server performance with one
task code before going to far ...

Let me know if you need any specific help on extending the cube

Hi Chris,

thanks a lot. As far as I know about the olap extension is that I can see
the tasks in the Cube. That's allright. But I need information about the
assigntments - e.g. we have a task with 10 days and two assigned ressources.
On ressoure in intern the other extern. I now wanna know how much the intern
ressource (information from the ressource outline code) and how much the
extern ressource worked on that task.

Is it possible with the cube extension to see that?

Kind regards

Michael
