Attachment icons

Bob

I have noticed some attachments within a message appear
within the message area as an icon whereas in some emails
they appear as an item under the subject line. I have
searched for the option that dictates where it will be
appear but have been unable to find it. Please could
someone help me?

It's the message format -- only rich-text uses inline attachments.

where they appear is controlled by the message format - RTF is in the body,
html and plain text are in the Attachments field.
