We recently migrated from an Exchange 5.5 server where all was working (I think) to an exchange 2000 Server.
One of the office staff works on 3 computers using his email on each. The account was configured as a roaming profile but is not now.
On one of his computers while trying to read an attachment from the envelope the outlook program reports "the program can not be found", excel, text doesn’t' mater. The attachment can be saved to disk and read. A separate account (different logon profile) can use the same computer and read attachments without this error. The user can also continue to read attachments on one of the other two computers by simply clicking on the attachment.
This seems like a problem with the profile associated with the computer. Any thoughts on how to approach this or advise on how to increase the amount of troubleshooting data would be appreciated.
