Dear All,
I am would like to know if there is a way of disabling the Attachment
Security Warning in Outlook 2002 when trying to launch
an htm file from within Outlook. I run Outlook 2002 SP2 client with Exchange
2000 with the security update which I have applied to my Windows 2000 Pro
workstation. I have a Public Folder (Outlook Security Settings) and made the
necessary registry change (HK Current User\Software\Policies\Security) where
I added the necessary new DWORD entry.
I now need to disable the Attachment Security Warning which appears when
trying to run a htm document from within Outlook. From Google searches one
of the options is to change the settings on my Outlook Security Settings
form. Unfortunately I have tried this but whenever I run a htm file
attachment the Attachment Security Warning message still appears. Would this
be another registry setting change? There is obviously a list of filetypes
somewhere which states file types which you can run safely from within
Outlook and some which obviously includes htm that you cannot prompting the
Attachment Security Warning to appear.
Any information on whether this can be modified or otherwise would be very
much appreciated.
Kind Rgds
