Attachment structure changes when sending e-mail

Hi,

Whenever one of our users attaches multiple attachments e.g. .doc, .xls,
....pdf, outlook randomly changes the attachment structure. It deletes one
altogether and duplicates others in no particular pattern. The client is
Office 2000 fully service packed and Exchange 5.5.

Any ideas?
